I think time has been passing by too quickly. Excluding this Friday, it’s just 7 more Fridays till back in sunny ole’ Singapore for 4 weeks. It’s like, on Friday nights I’d be thinking “woohoo it’s the weekend” and then when Sunday night comes I’d go “sh!t it. Journal club tomorrow (=back home late).” And today being Wednesday I’ll be thinking “yes yes 2 more days to Friday!”

These days are slack days in lab although I was supposed to be busy. Something unexpected happened last Thursday, ie the -80 deg C fridge broke down so um, all frozen stock of bacteria that the A/P uses are killed and um, since I’m supposed to be learning new techniques with these stocks of bacteria from him, I can’t do anything now. There’re other stocks of bacteria in lab lah, but his is supposed to be abit different. So I end up trolling on forums, reading on the Xiaxue vs Dawn Yeo saga, reading some other blogs (like how this guy Krisandro ended up calling his gf KuKuNehNeh) and reading my Immunology textbook.

Anyway, although sometimes I feel abit sian diao when I see no comments even though I blogged, but I’ve decided to keep my blog semi-private rather than like, register it at ping.sg and let everyone read (and hopefully get more comments). I remember saying it’s oxymoronic to keep your blog locked a few years back, but now come to think of it, blog is just a non-paper version of a diary. ALTHOUGH you can still let some friends read a locked blog, rather than say, the REAL PAPER diary.

Sometimes I wonder what’s the meaning of friends, coz I belong to the camp that can be totally by myself, isolated somewhere entertaining myself. Sounds like otaku. But ya, sometimes I wonder (and actually I believe also) that my, um, friends dislike me at times. Coz I’m not a nice person at times. Hoho. Like, I’m easily irritated, I get this itch to really shoot my honest opinions without caring if people are hurt by me, I like to criticise things/people that don’t go with my beliefs/opinions (and expect people to agree with me hoho). So, if you don’t like JR, just say ok! I’ll just poke you with a hot iron at your back next time I see you. Joking joking.

A few days back I was reading this Chinese website about birthday analysis, and whoa pretty accurate. Those who’re lazy to read Chinese, too bad. You can always Google translate and get the lost-in-translation version of the analysis. I always like to shoot those Chinese who claim they hate Chinese/lousy at Chinese/Chinese language is no use, *insert language* is better/deny their Chinese heritage (READ: Dawn Yeo. This group is the worst kind of homo sapiens around imo). Oops sorry bloghost, but ya. I digress.

Anyway, according to this analysis, people who share the same birthday as me are born judges. *kyakya* We are people who are seldom bias (hey I DO try to read as many viewpoints as possible regarding various issues), and if we encounter something that doesn’t sit well with our beliefs, we’re receptive to different ideas and argue it out, instead of pushing it aside. And we’re those who do what we preach. So ya, like if I say I wouldn’t consider plastic surgery, I will never do it. HOWEVER, in private, we’re people who are difficult to understand, and are pretty weird n quirky at times. True right! JR is as complex as it gets. And don’t expect me to perform to your standard, or even exceeds it, coz it’s MY standard that counts. And ya, like said, I hate being disrupted when I’m thinking or deciding things. So keep your distance if you think JR is in the thinking mode. In short, people born on my birthday are just, pragmatic (YEAH! romantics are NOT ftw) and had ability to differentiate. On the other hand, we get upset easily *sigh*, difficult to be with and tends to overly protect self.

So ya. That explains it. JR is not a nice person to be with. Kyakya. *lifts front paw up and licks and stretches out and sleep like nobody’s business* *meow*
